Hey, I’m Michelle Kwambo.

I’ve been drawn to the arts from as early as I can remember. Interestingly, it was only  later in life, when I was trying to figure out my purpose that I found out that I was ‘one of those’ they called creatives.

Before that, I honestly thought that everyone around me came alive through music, poetry, plays, musicals but I was very wrong. I was semi-permanently scarred when my unrelentless love for the arts ended up in me getting punished numerous times. (Allow me to omit the part of how my friends and I were suspended for breaking the school rules.)

As I continue to grow the observations from my formative years are starting to make sense.My friends always said I was creative. They also felt that I pushed the envelope a lot. I was the ‘give me an inch, I’ll take your tape-measure’ kind of person. Now feel that I am finally grasping who I am and  steadily evolving into the person that I was meant to be.
