Looking through my drafts, the last post I never posted has been sitting in there from January 7th 2020. I don’t know whether to laugh or be upset at myself for never following through.
I can tell from the title that I had such a positive outlook on the year that turned out to be sheer pandemonium. Now it’s almost a year since we all had to embrace a new normal. Social distancing, masks and hand washing (we really didn’t need a virus for this) have become the order of the day. Still living off my mega stockpile of toilet paper… You probably are too.
LIFE! I’m thankful that I am still here, above ground on this side of eternity with insight that I had foolishly abandoned a year ago. It’s clearer than it has ever been that we should learn to number our days – Our Heavenly Father is the best teacher of that class.
2020 proved that life neither easy nor predictable. On the other hand it certainly proved that life is NOT impossible.
The world is so different now, many things will never be as they were. Love God, love people and find something to be passionate about.
